Great Expectations !

Its amazing how some people have very high expectations of what they can achieve or accomplish in life. To some, it is healthy and it is the way to go in order to accomplish your goals. But to others, it is pure misery.

To be able to live up to your own expectations is one thing, but to live up to others is completely suppressing. I myself am calling it EXPECTATION PHOBIA. Expectation phobia is best defined as the fear of one's expectations because of the possibility of failure.

"Aim high", "Reach for the starts", are all common "push it to the limit" sayings that one may hear often when aiming for a certain goal. But what if, his hand is too short, or his leg was broken, or, god forbid, kryptonite was around.

Even though a lot may disagree, a lot may believe in "the secret", and a lot think that if you set your mind to do something, you'd do it, but, for the sake of your own health and mine, step it down a notch.

If there were no expectations, there'd be no disappointments!!!
